How we’re funded

In 2022/23, we completed Innovate UK’s Innovation to Commercialisation of University Research (ICURe) “Explore” programme in 2022/2023. As a result, we were able to secure £295k ICURe follow-on funding, which was match funded by the University of Liverpool’s Enterprise Investment Fund (£250k).

In 2024, we were one of the very first businesses to join the Biotechnology Business Incubation Centre (Bio BIC)- a new business support programme located within STFC’s Daresbury Laboratory, at Sci-Tech Daresbury. The programme is designed to help early stage, high potential biotechnology companies succeed in commercial markets, and is funded by the UK Research and Innovation STFC and BBSRC research councils.

The backing of these prestigious organisations serves to highlight the groundbreaking potential of our cold plasma technology in revolutionising the food processing industry.

This funding not only validates our efforts and helps us to bridge the gap between science and the market, but also empowers us to continue our mission of providing eco-friendly, efficient cleaning solutions that help manufacturers reduce costs, minimise downtime, and contribute to a greener planet.
